Ms Andelman is an experienced litigation lawyer. She was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in 2004. Ms Andelman has a broad practice in commercial and administrative law and specialises in workplace law. She has a busy advice practice and has a particular interest in civil prosecutions and accessorial liability provisions.

Ms Andelman was called to the Victorian Bar in 2006. From 2009 Ms Andelman worked as a Senior Solicitor at the Fair Work Ombudsman in Sydney. In 2012, Ms Andelman was called to the NSW Bar. Prior to 2006, Ms Andelman was employed as a solicitor at the Community and Public Sector Union.

Ms Andelman has appeared in a wide range of matters in a variety of jurisdictions including the Federal Court (in cases involving industrial, employment and administrative law), the Federal Circuit Court (in cases involving discrimination law, administrative and consumer law), New South Wales Supreme Court (employment law, contract and commercial/equity disputes) and District Court, Local Court and Tribunals. Ms Andelman is a nationally accredited mediator and regularly appears in mediations and conciliations. She is a strong supporter of various pro-bono legal institutions such as the Public Interest Advocacy Centre and is a volunteer at the Kingsford Legal Centre.

Ms Andelman has been a Sessional Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales, she has taught Civil Procedure and Alternative Dispute Resolution in the graduate programme.
